Recreation Coordinator

Join our Parks and Recreation team as a Recreation Coordinator and help grow one of the region's premier year-round outdoor recreation programs.

This dynamic role leads recreation programming, special events, facility operations, and community partnerships that create exceptional experiences for all ages. You'll oversee seasonal operations at Cone Park, including managing the winter snow tubing program, supervising staff, and ensuring safe, high-quality guest experiences. During the warmer months, you'll support trail stewardship, mountain biking initiatives, and other outdoor recreation opportunities. Bring your leadership, creativity, and passion for recreation to a team dedicated to enhancing quality of life through outstanding parks, trails, facilities, and programs.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional evening, night, and weekend hours as needed. The schedule may flex based on operational demands and event scheduling.

All employees must reside within thirty (30) miles of Sioux City limits, which includes areas in neighboring Nebraska and South Dakota.
